Agora was a proof of concept browser released in the 1990s. It had an interesting approach; instead of "browsing" the internet, you would install the Agora Browser on a server, use it to request a page, it would request the page, and then email the text of that page to you. A slow process indeed!
The result would be a Text Mode version of the page you requested, similar to other Text Mode browsers like Lynx.
Agora was a web browser that ran on Desktop devices. It was discontinued in 1997.
