Amelinium is a Desktop web browser that runs on Amiga OS. It's a brand new browser; it hasn't even been out for one year.
Amelinium is a basic but functional browser for Amiga OS. Given the very modest specs of Amigas, a single developer, and a small code base, Amelinium seems like a neat little browser to run on your old Amiga!
The first version was launched in March 2026, and a few months later the development has continued on strong, with better CSS support including CSS3 features, faster downloading, HTML forms support, tables, flex, and grid layouts.
Amelinium isn't just built for faster Amigas, there are builds available for lower spec machines to help increase the number of people who can use it.
There's no JavaScript support yet, so you'll struggle to use it as your daily driver, but it's a very interesting browser and definitely something to keep your eyes on if you still love Amigas!
The release date and the latest version number of Amelinium is displayed on the download page - this is very useful - it means you can easily tell how recently the latest version has been released. Using versions of software that were released a long time ago is bad security practice; the software may have old, unpatched bugs in it.

While most of these features are part and parcel of large, modern browsers, the fact that there is a web browser on Amigas that provide these features is extremely cool.
