BriskBard is a Desktop web browser that runs on Windows. It is developed by Salvador Díaz Fau. It has been developed for about 11 years since launching in 2015. BriskBard is interesting in that it provides the ability to use different rendering engines, instead of just one. This can help if a website only works with one type of browser.
This is handy if you are trying to access a website that works better with Trident than the more modern and popular Blink/Chromium engine. This probably isn't as necessary these days; Trident was the engine that Microsoft Internet Explorer used, and many years ago some websites would only work with it. Now that Trident/Internet Explorer is a thing of the past, this may not be as necessary, but it's still an interesting and useful feature if you're ever accessing websites that are "stuck in the past".
BriskBard may add affiliate links to your online browsing, which means that they may receive a commission if you make a purchase using these links.
The version number of the latest download of BriskBard is displayed on the download page, but unfortunately it doesn't also show the date of that release, so it's hard to tell how long ago the version came out. If you click through to the blog it does show the release date of the latest version.
