Conkeror was a Desktop web browser that ran on Unix-like operating systems. It was developed for about 9 years before being discontinued. Conkeror's website doesn't work any more, so it's hard to find more information about it. Development on Conkeror started in 2008, and while the project is clearly discontinued, it wasn't possible to figure out when development ceased.
Conkeror is a Mozilla-based web browser designed to be navigated primarily by a computer keyboard. Its design is mainly patterned after the text editor GNU Emacs, with some influence from other programs, including vi.
