Explore different web browsers
These are popular web browsers organised by "Rendering Engine". The Rendering Engine is the "core" of the browser that actually makes the websites you visit appear on your screen. Different web browsers will provide different features and functionality depending on how they are built and what the "focus" of the browser is, but if two browsers use the same engine, the pages will essentially appear the same in each.
Chromium is a rendering engine that is primarily developed by Google. It is a popular engine and used in many modern browsers on different platforms.
WebKit is developed primarily by Apple Inc and runs in all the web browsers on iOS devices. At this point, WebKit only runs on macOS and iOS devices.
Gecko is primarily developed by the Mozilla Foundation, and receives contributions from the wider open-source community.
