Chromium is a Desktop web browser and supports the Linux, macOS, Windows operating systems. It is developed by Chromium. It has been developed for about 18 years since launching in 2008.
The Chromium browser is basically a stripped down version Google Chrome; it doesn't have any of Google's extra customisations and features (such as "log in with Chrome" or Google telemetry).
Unlike Google Chrome, it doesn't automatically update, so if you use it, you will need to make sure you update it yourself.
