Eolas WebRouser was a Desktop web browser that ran on Unix-like operating systems. Development on Eolas WebRouser started in 1995, and while the project is clearly discontinued, it wasn't possible to figure out when development ceased.
One of the most obscure web browsers we have listed on the site; very, very little is known about it (it's only mentioned once in a single Wikipedia page), but it does seem to have been a real web browser. Claiming to have invented the plugin/applet format.
There was some kind of lawsuit against Microsoft, which was settled in 2007.
