Erwise was a vintage Desktop web browser that ran on Unix-like operating systems. It was developed for about 2 years before being discontinued.
The first browser that was available for the X Window System, and the first web browser with a Graphical User Interface. It was developed as a student project at Helsinki University of Technology.
